Her body stiffened, she edged away. "She’s so de Her body stiffened, she edged away.
"She’s so desperate for the attention and won't  allow herself to go there."
This was Bella, a dog.

This is also a beautiful representation of what many people go through.

They crave to be touched, to be held and wont let themselves because of pain.

Past experiences that hurt, learnt from, and now unconsciously remembered. 

Sometimes it's a matter of going through a process to let go of those old wounds.

This process can be fast, easy, and painless.
And then......

We can relearn to connect with others
And this time these new connections are different.

They are based on who we are now, and not who we were then.

I will always encourage anyone to do the work, it's so worth it.

What happened with Bella....
Someone took the time to help her relearn, and oh my gawd if you could have seen her tail, face, her whole body wriggling with utter joy from this contact.

Thats how I describe what I offer in group settings. 
You may love some of what I share, you may be indifferent about bits and you may turn your nose up at slices (not too much I hope 😆)

Citizens advice staff are on the front line dealing with some of the bleakest situations that are happening for people.
The staff can struggle to let go of the emotional reactions clients are having. They can struggle to shake off the impact of the individuals circumstances, and this is all happening multiple times every day. 
I’ve been brought in to share insights into how the mind works, how to let go of emotional responses, and offer tips and tricks into effective communication from a mind coaching perspective.

Each individual person is unique and no solution fits all.  So the next best step is to give tools so they can pick and choose whats right for them. 

I love bringing what I do into group settings, its a fun explorative way of looking at and communicating with others. 
We are all so much more than the stories we tell or experience.

Are you fulfilled with or without success? What if Are you fulfilled with or without success?
What if there is no success? 😱 
Then what?!?!

Just suppose we cut out the middle man……

What if you allowed yourself to feel fulfilled, contented, joyful, irrelevant of any external happenings.

What if you glowed from the inside out.
Without conditions.

Unconditionally fulfilled
If this were true…

What would become important for you then, now?
Healing without the trying….. What do you love? Healing without the trying…..

What do you love?  What brings you joy?  Where do you find your inner peace?

Any time spent in connection with that which warms the cockles of your heart is medicine.
Each of us has our own, what ever it is, where ever it is, nurture your deep self with regular immersions.

The natural byproduct of this form of self love is healing xxx

Just suppose making friends with your mind was like taming a lion....
Would you keep your distance initially and treat it with respect?
How long, realistically, would u take to know you could safely enter its enclosure?

If you've just begun the journey to master your mind or perhaps you've been at it a while, always be kind to yourself.

Be patient and trust.
Respectful, observant, curious
Be willing to listen with all your senses

Because the lion is a part of you.

And all and any of your crazy ways and thoughts always came from survival, from protection, care.

We only protect and care for that which we love.

So every part of you, even if you didn't realise it until now, always comes from a place of love

Ever slagged off someone you don’t know in your Ever slagged off someone you don’t know in your head? 
Perhaps for being miserable, cutting you up on the road, not thanking you when you held the door for them……
When might you have been triggered and gotten frustrated inside your head at another?

I did just the other day.
& with much gratitude I noticed something…….. so I wrote this to myself…..

Dear Nicola
Be kind to the ‘grumpy’ person in the shop. 
Because you’re only hurting yourself with that irritated reaction.

Let go of your belief that a lack of a smile means miserable and rude.

Give them space because when you take the time to observe, you notice they’re limping, in pain, struggling.

Give them space to be.  They’re coping in their own way.
The best way they know how

Let go of your expectations, of others

Give everyone space to be

Without conditions

Accepting people as they are, creating freedom.

Freedom to be

Unconditionally 

How much nicer it feels

Pure openness.

Feeling the ease flow through my body like a ripple of grace

Delightful acceptance

Imagine if we could honour everyone on their own journey, 
Imagine if we could honour ourselves on our own journey

We are all learning how to master beauty in the best way we know how

Be kind to yourself and others

We are all opening
Like the snow drops on a cold winters day
Realising our true self
Becoming what we were born to be

Utterly beautiful

Our mind can run in circles because it doesn’t k Our mind can run in circles because it doesn’t know.
It’s like a child having to make life decisions when no adult is around.

When we’re disconnected from ourself we can make rash, poor, ill’motivated decisions.

So what if in this case the adult is our inner knowing?
Our deep truth?

By cultivating curiosity & wonder of our ‘felt sense’ on a daily basis, we can learn how to listen. 
We can discover what to pay attention to.

Connecting with our deep self
For some there are words or images.
For all there is a felt sense

Perhaps is clear and obvious already, maybe it’s subtle and unconscious for now

Taking time to feel your body.
Leads to reconnecting with your self

Diving deep into self brings flow in life. 
Because we’re listening to the one who knows.

Know’s all the information of what was, what is, & what will come to be

Self and Other

Orchestrated perfection

Always for our highest of good

Inside of you
A tree never worries about how to let go of her le A tree never worries about how to let go of her leaves, she simply focuses on within, that which rises inside bringing with it new life

Focus on your true self and you will automatically let go of that which is no longer needed
